US NAVY SELECTS OFFICEWATCH Call Reporting for AIRCRAFT CARRIER BUNKER HILL
FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Nov 5, 2011--Metropolis, a leading manufacturer of telemanagement software, is pleased to announce that its OfficeWatch product has been selected by the United States Navy for its USS Bunker Hill ship. USS Bunker Hill (CV/CVA/CVS-17, AVT-9) was one of 24 Essex-class aircraft carriers built during World War II for the United States Navy. The Enterprise version of OfficeWatch was selected by the US Navy for this aircraft carrier, which allows users access to the system from any PC with and Internet connection or from client PCs connected to the existing network. The Enterprise version also includes TrafficWatch, a graphical trunk analysis utility that provides in-depth information on trunk usage and inbound and outbound telephone traffic.
USS Bunker Hill , the second US Navy ship to bear the name, was named for the Battle of Bunker Hill. Bunker Hill was commissioned in May 1943, and served in several campaigns in the Pacific Theater of Operations, earning eleven battle stars and a Presidential Unit Citation. Bunker Hill was sometimes known as the "Holiday Express" for her many attacks launched around the end of that year.
